CASE STUDY
Rocky Mountain Groom Expo
Rocky Mountain Groom Expo came to Branded Rebels with an engaged industry audience and an established event, but its marketing lacked consistency across channels.
We built a coordinated campaign across social, email, paid media, video, graphics, and sponsor partnerships to strengthen the RMGX brand, increase event awareness, and support ticket sales.
Turning an established event into a connected, seven-month marketing campaign
Results
The Challenge
RMGX already had an industry presence and saw strong engagement around live video, but its broader marketing was inconsistent.
Social posting lacked a steady rhythm, branding varied across touchpoints, emails asked readers to navigate too many topics at once, and ticket sales needed more support.
The opportunity was to build a campaign around what was already working.
Our Approach
Build One Connected Campaign
We treated social media, email, paid ads, video, graphics, sponsor partnerships, and promotional offers as parts of the same campaign rather than separate deliverables.
Create a Consistent Rhythm
From February through the July event, social content ran approximately 2–3 times per week, supported by email campaigns, paid media, promotions, and event updates.
Adjust as the Campaign Moved
Performance reporting helped shape creative, messaging, promotions, and campaign pivots throughout the seven-month runway.
The Work
Content moved with the campaign, from early awareness into education, engagement, ticket promotion, and final event calls to action.
Across the campaign, we produced approximately 65 graphics, photos, and reels and reached 12,909 unique viewers organically.
Social content included:
Early Bird Promotions
Flash Sales
Giveaways
Speaker + Educator Highlights
Previous-Year Event Video
Countdown + Event Content
Email Marketing
RMGX entered the campaign using longer, zine-style emails covering multiple topics at once.
We shifted toward shorter, more focused emails, giving individual promotions, deadlines, educational opportunities, and event stories a clearer purpose.

Campaign Impact
By the July event, RMGX had moved from disconnected marketing efforts to a coordinated campaign across social, email, advertising, video, creative, and partnerships.
The campaign also created a stronger brand presence, a more consistent communication rhythm, and a larger library of reusable creative assets for future events.
In the Client’s Words
“They’ve taken the time to understand my businesses, my events, and the voice I want to maintain on social media. It never feels like generic, cookie-cutter marketing.
Several of their suggestions have turned into fantastic opportunities for added exposure and have helped us reach new audiences in ways I wouldn’t have thought of on my own.”
